Good start 2010

Since I gave birth in 2008, I haven't really been myself.
Advantages: I have gained security be becoming a mom.
Disadvantages: I haven't had enough time for myself and my interests.
So now that Tuwa is a little older, I can manage to do other things, without sacrificing quality time with her and Marcus.

I have set up new goals this year:
1. To write my book
2. To improve my physique
3. To be a more cultivated culture editor

So far I'm doing good. I have paid for a yearlong access to Power Plate. I'm starting next week.
I changed my haircut - cut and colored the hair for a younger look, fresher look. I found a good hairstylist who understands Asian hair here in Solna. He used to cut the hair of the king in Thailand, but gave up his job because the king used to hit him when he made mistakes - according to gossips in the salon.
I even had time for facial treatment!
So right now, I feel years younger!

There's another thing I've noticed - I'm working faster and more effective than ever. I am very good at multitasking now. I feel strong and motivated! Those are the perks of being a mom who has gone past "novice" to "more experienced".

I've also been reading a lot faster and more zesto! I could hardly read a book in a month when I was always tired the first year of my motherhood. But now, I can read a book in a few days. I read New Moon by Stephenie Meyer, for instance, in two evenings. But it's also a matter of prioritising. I hop over unnecessary details.n

We've also been going out much since the year started: an outdoor museum on New Year's day, a pet exhibition on 6 january in Kista mässa, riding the sledge in Solna, the butterfly house and Hagapark in Solna, etc. Good, because I want Tuwa to learn as much as she can at the same time as have so much fun with us.

I like what's happening - the metamorphosis - from a tired new mom to a more effective and eager mom growing older with my baby.

I love life!
