And I'm not ashamed of it. But wow, do we raise eyebrows. Some people actually believe it is wrong to let children share their parents' beds because...children won't learn independence early...
Damn independence.
1. These kids sooner or later would not want to live under the same roof as their parents. So why the rush?
2. New studies show that it is actually good to give children security than to rush them to early independence.
3. I know several Filipino families who share bed with their kids - and their kids turn out maure, independent, tough and happy. So I don't see any disadvantage at all.
Except for the parents. They don't have much privacy.
But listen, whenenver my baby crawls towards me for a hug - and falls back to sleep while hugging me - this is one golden piece of memory that can never be replaced.

Thanks Louise
We have a deadline to meet every monday. Pressläggning. But I had to run an errand at the bank. And when I did get to the bank, the queue was long! Luckyily I ran into my old SFI teacher Louise. She gave me an extra number, an earlier number. Furthermore, she said I could go back to work and she'd wait in the queue for me, as she also had errand and that her number was just one figure ahead of me. So I went back to work and phoned her afer 30 minutes, to check out if we were nearing our turns.
It actually took an hour for her to queue.
Thanks, Louise, you're an angel!

The villas in Långängsstrand
Enormous. They were enormous. Huge houses with up to three floors, some of them. The houses stand on huge lots, with a view of the waters and Tranholmen. I am not surprised if these houses cost around ten million crowns.
These people who live here are extremely rich. I haven't actually seen that super rich part of Sweden yet, until now.
There were only a few people walking about here. Most of them are blond, white people. Some of them are friendly, they smiled at us, and one man even bothered to tell us where we could find flowers to take pictures of - considering that we didn't ask, which meant the he himself approached to tell us.
Friendly people who thought we were from the area.
I am impressed by their wealth.
I once lived in a huge house - a mansion - with three floors and two annexes. I lived in Oman then. We had a gardener and a cleaning lady. Our voices echoed when we talked. The roof was so high - it had a dome in the center.
I'll probably never live in a big house again. But honestly, I don't miss that kind of life. Wealth doesn't really mean much if one is unhappy. Although money helps somehow to entertain one. To alleviate some problems. But it is not everything, as I have experienced.
Even if I won 54 million crowns, I probably would't buy a huge house. I'd be afraid of...ghosts! booo!

South of Folkungatan
In 2007, a swedish friend XX once said that he didn't like the Östermalm-area, and not even Solna, where I live. In Östermalm they all look so snobbish and have these expensive signature clothes. In Solna people look strict in their office/business attire. That was according to him. And I didn't see what he saw. In fact, I didn't understand what he was talking about. All I knew was that I didn't exactly like his nerdy taste for clothes. Once he wore a hawaaian shirt and yellow pants. I mean - he is a cute guy but his style bothered me. And sometimes embarrassed me, especially when he was with me in Solna. He is from the south of the south of Stockholm.
Yesterday I took a course at A4-skolan at Bondegatan, south of Stockholm. After which, I took a walk and unintentionally ended up at Folkungatan. I stopped over at two coffesshops: Svart Kaffe (I liked their varm smörgås med mörkt bröd och chévre, pesto, soltorkade tomater och valnötter) and South of Folkungatan Café (I didn't like their chai latte - too bland for my taste). From where I sat by the window, I observed people. They sport a nerdy konstnärlig trend - just as my friend XX!
But here, they didn't look goofy and out-of-taste - probably because almost everybody has the same taste and they have this confident attitude that seemed to say: "I don't care what you think, I am what I am.".
And people seem to be thespians having a costume rehearsal. I mean, I saw people sporting 1950's style - complete with Grease-lightning hair. And then there was this young beautiful couple who reminds me of the Twilight couple - vampire-looking!
I used to like my style - which makes me feel elegant. But my "elegance" didn't fit in Söder. I felt boring. Perhaps in this part of Stockholm, it is I who is nerdy instead.

Result of Mulberry and 30 days test
The Mulberry tablet works. Det funkar alltså. I am a Cokaholoic, and it lessened my need to drink Coca Cola plus other sweets.
30 days tablet works too. Jag blev någorlunda smalare, went down a kilo.
But now I'm back to my normal habit of drinking lots of Coke, eating chocolates and gaining back a kilo -or maybe even gaining two. I went back to my routine since I stopped drinking the tablets.
The problem is that it's like pregnancy pills - there is a tendency to hop over a tablet or two because it's easy to forget, what with all the things I have to do during the day.
I wonder also if drinking them has caused my baby some förstoppninsproblem - constipation - since I still give her some breastmilk at night.
So I gave the tablets up - much as I like their effect on me.
