My old flat

I happened to find a map in my computer: lägenhet. It contains pictures of my old flat which I bought 2005. I lived there for two years. Two years of being just me. And I got sad.
No, I didn't feel sad because I  miss all the visits to posh restaurants or bars and late-night dancing on friday-saturday nights with friends.
I felt sad because I miss being able to design my home just as I want it to be.

Back then I had a small condo unit - just 37 square meters. But it was a pretty little unit so that every guest felt that the size was bigger. I got praises for the way I decorated it. Every minute thing was in the exact spot where I wanted it. Nothing was to left to random.
And I expressed myself through my home.

Now it's difficult to do that. Marcus is into minimalism and functionalism. nothing wrong about that. It's just that...I want a little more character in our current home.

Anyway, here are pictures of my old home, which was then situated at Framnäsbacken 6 in Solna.

The selling price was 745 000 crowns. We were two parties who came to see it, so the price was raised only to 780 000 crowns. It was on the bottom floor - just like the first apartment of Carrie in Sex and the City - on the bottom floor, but higher than ground level.

When I sold it two years later, it was my interior designing that made the price shoot up almost twice its price.
"Bottom floor" on the unit description normally don't attract people. So there were only three people who came to see it. But the three who did loved the unit.

There was another unit on the bottom floor in the same buildning that went on sale a few months earlier. It was just a few square meters bigger than mine. But when it was sold, the price was much less than mine.
That's why I can brag that it's the styling that counts. My styling.
But damn, now I miss styling...And I miss super clean home. Can't have a shiny clean home with baby and hubby around.
